Very little humidity can escape from your Sentry RiverPool® when a cover is properly used. Also with the use of the Nature 2 on our Water Purification System no chemical scent can be detected.

The standard floating thermal blanket which is included with your Sentry RiverPool® will control about 90% of the humidity when the pool is covered. You can prevent 99% of the humidity from escaping by selecting the optional Retractable Security Cover.

Humidity becomes more of an issue when the blanket or retractable security cover is removed and the Sentry RiverPool® is in use. If the Sentry RiverPool® is uncovered for less than one hour a day, humidity generally can be controlled by a simple room dehumidifier, or a window vent fan.

Customers ask if they need to install a commercial grade dehumidification system. Our experience is that a simple room dehumidifier is sufficient. The only time you would need a commercial grade dehumidifier is if you would leave it uncovered for many hours a day.
