• Sentry RiverPool's® placed in existing rooms are usually installed above-ground, so there is no need for excavation. In some cases, you may have to break through the existing floor if you chose to place your Sentry RiverPool® partial in-ground or completely in-ground.
• The optional Retractable Security Cover can control 99% of the RiverPool's® humidity if used when the RiverPool® is not in use. If the RiverPool® is used less than an hour a day, a simple room dehumidifier or window fan is usually adequate for removing the excess humidity.
• Putting your Sentry RiverPool® indoors allows you and your family year round fitness and fun. The Sentry RiverPool® exerts an evenly distributed load of about 200 lbs. per sq. ft. with a total weight of about 10 tons. Concrete floors on grade can generally support this weight without any issues.
• Thinking of locating your Sentry RiverPool® above ground floor, Sentry will require a professional engineer to ensure the the upper floor has the structural integrity to support the weight of the Sentry RiverPool®. • Sentry Pool strongly recommends that both the Sentry RiverPool® and the Water Quality System be placed near a floor drain. This is a necessary precaution for a 2,500 gallon body of water. In addition, the area surrounding the Sentry RiverPool® should be protected and appropriate floor and wall covering materials used. |
